I’m excited to share a milestone I reached today – I completed the Beginner’s SQL course and earned a certification! 🚀
As a digital marketer, I’ve always been passionate about data and its potential to drive informed decisions. SQL is a powerful tool for managing and extracting insights from large datasets, making it an invaluable skill in today’s data-driven world.
I chose to embark on this SQL certification journey through Codecademy’s interactive and user-friendly platform. The course provided a comprehensive introduction to SQL, starting from the basics and gradually building up to more advanced queries and data manipulation.
The curriculum covered essential topics such as querying a database, filtering and sorting data, and even performing complex JOIN operations to combine data from multiple tables. Each lesson was paired with hands-on exercises, allowing me to apply what I learned in real-world scenarios. My favorite part of this course was working on the 5 projects designed into the lesson plan and the ability to practice each concept at the end of each module. Codecademy also made it super easy to add the certification to my LinkedIn profile in case I ever lose the pdf of the certification.
I’m excited to continue my journey in the realm of data analytics and SQL, and I can’t wait to see where these skills take me in my digital marketing career. Stay tuned for more updates on my learning adventures!
